The French Language: The Heart of Louisiana

1)
A) Who: Shes speaking about and for the Cajun French of Louisiana. (Acadian people)
B)What: The french language is deeply rooted in the Louisiana history.
C)When: From the beginning of Louisiana's existence til now but even now its very rare among the younger people.
D)Where: Primarily I think shes referring to Acadiana but it could also be argued that shes talking about all of Louisiana.
E)Why: She thinks that the French Language is what makes Louisiana so special and shes trying to get people tp recognize that.

2)
Sentence one : M She is giving the main idea.
Sentence two : E She is giving an example.
Sentence three : A She is analyzing her example
Sentence four : A She is explaining her example in terms of someone else.
Sentence five : E She uses her example and pretty much proves her point with the words of someone else.
Sentence six : A She explains why her main point is a benefit in society
Sentence seven : E She uses a french foreigner to get her point across that even with no english background you can still manage in acadiana.
Sentence eight : E She explains how after he came to Lafayette and knew no english wasnt that tough
Sentence nine : A She tells how there are many people who speak french and helped him around school.
Sentence ten : L She links all of her main ideas and examples to one another and to the next sentence.

Personally I think it works pretty well for the audience. She looks at all aspects of the argument and still gets her point across effectively. I do not think I would change anything about the way she laid it out.

(no time to finish. Family issues came up)
